Team Lead Packaging Department

Job Description

We are partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Nashua, NH that is looking for a Team Lead to support their Packaging Department. This role combines hands-on packaging tasks with day-to-day leadership responsibilities to ensure quality, productivity, and safety on the floor. It's a great fit for someone who has manufacturing or packing experience and enjoys helping others succeed.

Nashua, NH | $24-$25/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm

Screening Required: Background check + drug test (no THC panel)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed visual inspections to ensure product quality
  • Use basic hand tools to remove excess material when needed
  • Follow written work instructions and packaging guidelines
  • Package, wrap, and prepare products for shipment
  • Provide support and direction to the packaging team throughout the shift
  • Assist with training new employees and answering process-related questions
  • Monitor workflow and help maintain production goals
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
  • Communicate issues such as defective tools or unsafe conditions to leadership
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing or packing experience
  • Prior team lead or mentoring experience is a plus
  • Ability to read and understand basic blueprints
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs
  • Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude

Work Environment

  • This role operates in a manufacturing/warehouse setting. Noise levels vary by area, and standard PPE such as safety glasses is required.
